Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that
drive organic traffic growth and improve search engine rankings.
Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value
keywords and long-tail phrases that align with business goals.
On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images to
improve search engine visibility and user experience.
Technical SEO: Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and rectify issues related to
website structure, page speed, mobile optimization, crawlability, and indexing.
Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content
that is engaging, relevant, and optimized for target keywords.
Link Building: Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to enhance
domain authority and improve search engine rankings.
Analytics and Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and
other SEO software to monitor performance, track KPIs, and generate detailed reports.
Competitor Analysis: Perform competitive analysis to identify opportunities and
threats, and adjust SEO strategies accordingly.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best
practices to ensure ongoing success in organic search performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with web developers, UX/UI designers, and other team
members to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all website projects.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SEO with a strong portfolio of
successful projects.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology,
or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search
Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret
data and make data-driven decisions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
clearly articulate SEO strategies and results to stakeholders.
Coding Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it relates to
SEO.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in executing SEO
tasks.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: SEO certification from recognized bodies such as Google, Moz, or
HubSpot.
Content Marketing: Experience with content marketing and the ability to create and
manage content strategies.
Local SEO: Experience with local SEO strategies and tactics.
E-commerce SEO: Experience with SEO for e-commerce platforms and online retail
businesses.
