Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern with a strong understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO techniques to join our marketing team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in search engine optimization, working on strategies that enhance TerraTern's online visibility and search engine rankings.

Key Responsibilities

  • On-Page SEO Optimization:
  • Assist in optimizing website content, meta tags, headers, and images to improve search engine rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization.
  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in blog posts, landing pages, and other web content.
  • Monitor and report on website performance metrics, such as page load speed, bounce rate, and user engagement.
  • Off-Page SEO Optimization:
  • Support the development and execution of off-page SEO strategies, including link-building and content promotion.
  • Research and identify high-quality backlink opportunities through outreach, partnerships, and influencer collaborations.
  • Monitor TerraTern's backlink profile and assist in managing the disavow process for toxic links.
  • Content Promotion and Outreach:
  • Help promote TerraTern's content through outreach to bloggers, webmasters, and influencers.
  • Participate in developing and executing outreach campaigns to secure backlinks and increase domain authority.
  • Assist in creating and sending outreach emails, follow-ups, and pitches to enhance link-building success rates.
  • Competitor Analysis:
  • Conduct analysis of competitors SEO strategies, including on-page and off-page tactics.
  • Identify areas where TerraTern can improve or capitalize on opportunities to gain a competitive edge.
  • SEO Reporting and Analysis:
  • Track and report on the performance of on-page and off-page SEO efforts using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve TerraTern's overall SEO strategy.
  • Learning and Development:
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your SEO knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve TerraTern's SEO performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles, with experience or knowledge in both on-page and off-page SEO.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong interest in digital marketing and SEO.
