Job Responsibilities.

  • Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords for targeting in on-page optimization efforts.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, and headings to align with target keywords and improve search engine rankings.
  • Develop and implement on-page SEO strategies to enhance website visibility and drive organic traffic growth.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website design and development processes.
  • Conduct content audits and keyword mapping exercises to optimize existing content and identify opportunities for new content creation.
  • Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, analyzing data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies to continuously improve on-page SEO strategies and tactics.
  • Provide guidance and training to cross-functional teams on on-page SEO best practices and techniques.
  • Track and report on key on-page SEO metrics, performance indicators, and progress towards goals.

Preferred Qualifications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in on-page SEO, preferably in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO best practices, including keyword research, content optimization, and technical optimization.
  • Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix etc.) and website optimization tools/plugins.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable results and improving search engine rankings, traffic, and conversions through on-page SEO initiatives.
