Job Description

This role demands a high level of creativity, as well as a strategic mindset to ensure all content is optimized both for search engines (SEO) and user experience (UX). The ideal candidate will craft content that not only ranks well on search engines but which also guarantees conversion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Craft Compelling Narratives: Develop engaging, user-focused content that highlights the unique selling points of destinations, ensuring the narratives are optimized for SEO without sacrificing readability or engagement
  • Keyword Research and SEO Implementation: Perform in-depth keyword research to identify terms that increase visibility on search engines, integrating them strategically into content to improve ranking and drive traffic
  • Analyze and Optimize Content Performance: Utilize analytics to monitor content effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to refine and improve content strategy for enhanced user engagement and SEO results
  • Enhance User Experience (UX): Write clear, intuitive copy for all user interface elements, ensuring a seamless navigation experience that guides users effortlessly through the site or app.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with design, marketing, and product teams to align content with visual design and marketing strategies, ensuring a cohesive user experience
Requirements
  • A native-level proficiency in English
  • 2+ years of experience in SEO copywriting. Bonus points if you have experience in UX writing Ability to identify Key Selling Points of an experience/landmark/attraction and build conversion-driven narratives around that
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your skills in creating engaging, informative, and SEO-optimized content across various digital platforms. Any proven experience in the Tourism industry will be considered a plus
  • A deep understanding of SEO principles for content optimization (metadata, anchor texts, internal linking)
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct keyword research, optimize website copy, and effectively use analytics tools to inform content strategy
  • Experience in SEO benchmarking of competitors content
  • Use of AI tools for research (but can produce content on your own)
