Assist the SEO and editorial team to produce SEO-compliant content and coordinate with them to develop engaging content strategies and optimize their articles
Live optimization of content written by the editorial team to ensure traction on all Google channels (Organic, News, App, AMP, Discover)
Develop keyword plans by conducting keyword research on a regular basis to generate content ideas and increase organic traffic
Collect data and report on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects
Find, evaluate, and capitalize upon SEO expansion opportunities for site structure, on-page improvements, keyword strategies, and content optimization
Execute SEO best practice checklists, to ensure growth
Work closely with the SEO, product, and tech teams to accomplish SEO requirement
Develop and implement link building strategy
Competitor analysis in terms of traffic, on-page factors, and new ideas
Keeping up-to-date with developments in the SEO industry
Requirements:
2 years of experience in SEO in a publishing environment in Asia
Proven track record of success in both content and technical SEO
experience with optimizing content for media sites (background in luxury and lifestyle is a plus)
knowledge on optimization of content for channels like Google News, AMP, and Discover
Experience using SEO/analytics tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics
analytical skills and the ability to craft actionable insights from complex data
detail-orientated, well-organized, and good time management.
