About us:
ParkSmart is a startup founded by IIT Delhi Alumni with a mission to create a Smart Parking ecosystem in India. Our innovative algorithm collects data to help users search for available parking options. We also assist parking contractors, malls, and societies in remotely managing their parking lots with revenue analytics, smart alerts, auditing tools, and real-time information. Our robust system can digitize any unorganized parking space in less than 120 seconds.
About the role:
As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the product and design team to improve our websites search engine rankings, drive organic traffic, and manage our social media presence. The primary focus of this internship will be to execute and refine SEO strategies, but you will also gain exposure to content marketing, social media management, and blogging.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO:
- Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for website optimization.
- Optimize website content for search engines, including title tags, meta descriptions, and internal linking strategies.
- Conduct regular SEO audits to ensure best practices are implemented and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz, and generate reports.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and algorithm updates in SEO.
Content Creation & Blogging:
- Assist in the creation of SEO-optimized blog posts, articles, and other forms of web content.
- Manage content calendars to ensure timely publishing of articles and updates.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation best practices.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and WordPress (preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz)
- Ability to use GPTs and other AI tools for SEO (preferred)
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with email marketing platforms and basic graphic design (Canva, Photoshop, etc.).
- Knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and PPC campaigns.
