nThe primary role of this function is to analyze, design, develop and maintain IT applications based on business requirements across all business functionalities. Key deliverables include using current programming languages and source code to develop, test, debug complex applications and provide post-production support within the agreed time, quality, performance and budget constraints. Working closely with key stakeholders, DBAs and system administration to define and document technical specifications and schedule.

nCollaborates with business stakeholders, functional and technical workstream to understand business requirements and translate those requirements into technical solutions.
nProvides technical leadership and guidance for the incremental addition of new features of Workday HCM solutions.
nLead the Design end to end solution for the HCM platform, Workday HCM integrations, reports, and customizations.
nProvides guidance on technical design and implementation best practices for Workday HCM solutions..
nManages technical risks and issues and provides mitigation strategies as needed.
nEnsure technical alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
nKeep abreast of new Workday features and functionality providing recommendations to further process improvements
nDocument best practices and operational procedures
nFacilitate continuous improvement within the environment
nAble and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision
nTake initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
nCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers, users, peers, and all levels of management.

nRequired:
nBachelor's degree (B.S.); Major or Minor in Information Systems
n5+ years of experience in developing system solutions & applications across full software development lifecycle
n4+ Experience in a similar role with extensive system knowledge of Workday HCM modules, including: Absence, Advanced Compensation, Integrations, Talent and Recruitment
nWell-developed root-cause analytical skills with the ability to configure and troubleshoot issues and defects
nExperience in developing and supporting RAAS, EIB, Connector and simple Studio integrations
nExperience in managing multiple and competing priorities
nExcellent non-technical communication
nTo be agile and adaptive - this role is evolving as business needs arise
nAbility to work flexibility across multiple time zones, as required by the global nature of this role.
nGood knowledge and experience of Web Services Development (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc) and experienced in building integration with Salesforce
nPreferred:
nWorkday Pro certification in one or multiple HCM modules
nGood understanding of Agile development methodologies, preferable in Scrum
