Job description

We are seeking a talented WordPress developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, with expertise in WordPress theme and plugin development. The candidate should be able to translate design wireframes into high-quality code and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch based on client requirements.

2. Modify and enhance existing WordPress themes and plugins as needed.

3. Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress websites.

4. Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement website features and functionalities.

5. Perform website maintenance tasks, including updates, backups, and security enhancements.

6. Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress websites.

7. Optimize website performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices.

8. Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a WordPress developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.

2. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

3. Extensive knowledge of WordPress architecture, APIs, and hooks.

4. Experience with popular WordPress plugins and frameworks.

5. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

7. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
