The Opportunity: Join one of our development teams as a Senior Web Developer within our BankWorld Digital/Web Administration Client Software Development divisions. We are currently looking for a number of highly motivated and passionate individuals, with a strong interest in software development, to join one of our teams as a Senior Web Developer. You will be responsible for providing high quality software for either our Internet & Mobile applications or our BankWorld Web Administration Client application, implementing new business requirements and maintaining existing functionality.
What you ll do: Design and Implement: Extend the design and implementation of our Mobile App, Internet Banking or Web Administrator Client solutions. Collaborate: Maintain strong communication channels within scrum teams, team leader, scrum master and PO to ensure seamless project delivery. Agile Scrum: Actively participate in scrum team refinements, planning, and delivery, adhering to agreed timelines. Global Engagement: Occasionally travel to our offices in Dublin, Amman, or Bangalore to collaborate with peers and architects. Support: Provide occasional out-of-hours support for the product as needed. Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other tasks as required by your line manager.
What you ll bring: Experience: 4+ years of experience in Angular development Educational Background: A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science. Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to solve complex problems and deliver robust solutions. Attention to Detail: Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and a high level of attention to detail. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly in English.
Technical Expertise: Experience with distributed architectures and Angular frameworks. Knowledge and experience of using GIT Experience in agile software development environment Experience in consuming REST API s. Industry Experience: Experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector is a plus. Personal Attributes: Excellent team player, cooperative and flexible approach. Agility: Ability to thrive in a distributed team environment, working within Agile Scrum processes.
