We are seeking a skilled and creative Senior Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years of experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing their editing abilities across various types of content.
As a Senior Video Editor, you will collaborate with our production team to bring our creative vision to life through compelling video content. You will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that engage and captivate our audience.
Responsibilities :
Edit raw footage to produce high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and execute the creative vision effectively.
Use industry-standard editing software to trim footage, add transitions, overlays, graphics, and special effects as needed.
Ensure video content is aligned with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style.
Optimize videos for different platforms and formats, ensuring they are visually appealing and meet technical specifications.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques and software.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to junior team members to help them improve their editing skills.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and content creation, to support cross-functional projects.
Requirements :
Bachelor s degree in film production, multimedia, or related field preferred.
1 to 4 years of professional experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating editing skills and creativity.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards while working on tight deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual expression.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of motion graphics and animation techniques is a plus.
Experience with color grading and audio editing is desirable
Proficiency in
video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Solid understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and sound design.
