Education Qualification

Master's degree in business administration with specialization in Human Resources

An aggregate of 60% and above in Bachelor's Degree

Experience Required

Min 20+ Years of work experience in Human Resource field with a proven track record in HR leadership records / Change Management and Employee Relations,

Role objective

Sr. Vice President has the overall responsibility for the Human Resource function that support the head office as well as all projects across sectors/revenue lines and geographies. They are responsible for creating an engaging work environment by maintaining and promoting people policies and initiatives that drive employee engagement and attract high quality talent to the organization. In addition, they must ensure vacancies are fulfilled at the earliest such that minimal disruption occurs at the project sites.

Key tasks & activities

Recruitment / Talent Acquisition

  • Ensure sourcing for all positions happens as per defined requirements and guidelines as specified in the requisition form, within the predefined turnaround time for all candidates, both billable and non-billable, i.e. project site hires and office hires
  • Ensure improvement in quality of sourcing to reduce the number of rounds of sourcing per position
  • Mobilize project execution team including team leader, key professionals, sub professionals and support staff basis staffing schedule to ensure minimal revenue loss due to vacancies
  • Ensure adherence to hiring budget and escalate any instances wherein further extension of budget is required

Policy and Process Creation and Adherence

  • Drive the formulation of policies and processes as per the changing market and internal customer needs
  • Ensuring adherence to all internal processes from compliance and audit point of view

Turnover Management

  • Formulate and implement strategies to reduce the YOY churn across the organisation
  • Ensure retention of high-performing talent across stores across all geographies
  • Ensure that exit interviews are conducted for all voluntary leavers
  • Drive actionable insights and undertake projects to lower voluntary turnover

Onboarding

  • Ensure all new hires are on-boarded at HO / RO / site office wherein they submit all documents and receive their appointment letter which state their position, salary, project, location, duration, eligibility, etc.
  • Ensure timely deployment of project site candidates as per staffing schedule

Performance Management

  • Formalise process for HO/RO and project execution teams at site, i.e. formal goal setting, communication, periodic progress review conversations, etc.
  • Ensure the performance management process is communicated in a timely manner to all employees and that the training on performance management system and process is given to all new joiners
  • Ensure timely target setting and performance review for all employees
  • Ensure that the performance management process is documented, specifically for employees who are put on PIP to safeguard against future litigations

People Development

  • Liaise with subject matter experts, both internal and external to create a training calendar to further upskill and develop the workforce
  • Ensure adherence to the training calendar by all functions

Team Engagement & Retention

  • Continually engage with the team, driving a positive and high performance culture
  • Drive focus on personal and professional development by encouraging skill development and monitoring performance against individual goals
  • Ensure conduction of training and development activities in line with technical and behavioral skills required by the team, deliver trainings related to functional skills where required

Financial

  • Adherence to hiring budget.
