Job Description
The Data Operations group is responsible for client portfolio data flows - inbound and outbound interfacing with various Citco applications The global group has representation in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America providing business support for all Operations as it concerns portfolio data flow needs. This support must be provided seamlessly with all regions working together in a follow-the-sun model. The group has both an operational and a strategic mandate to fulfill which is accomplished through a location strategy that combines presence in strategic locations close to our client needs and leveraging scale, standardization and centralization in Centre of Excellence (CoE) locations.
The candidate for this senior role is expected to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Data Operations value proposition in Citcos service offering. The candidate is expected to utilize this understanding in facilitating the delivery of the teams operational mandate, meeting high service quality expectations of our internal and external clients. The successful candidate will have the ability to define and evolve the processes whilst managing business-as-usual deliverables (BAU). The role is strategic in nature and requires input and development of continuous improvement frameworks besides measuring and reporting on performance of KPIs that already exist and will evolve further. As a senior leader for the group in the location, the successful candidate will provide input to the groups expansion of scope & service offering, including technology and process engineering initiatives

Responsibilities
- Senior Vice President role overseeing the global process for Trading Accruals.
- Trading Accruals is positioned under the Portfolio Maintenance vertical within Data Operations and is essentially a form of data pre-processing for fund accounting.
- The senior role will also have matrix involvement for all Data Operations functions spanning Trade Capture, OTC Confirmations, Reference Data and Corporate Actions.
- The operational teams perform pre-processing to ensure integrity and completeness of client portfolios in Citco application.
- Configuration and maintenance of electronic interfaces that exchange inbound/outbound data to/from Citco applications.
- Proactive monitoring of data flows end to end data is an integral pre-cursor to Citcos service to clients.
- Provide leadership in establishing standards and benchmark in the area of portfolio data interfaces - for Citco and the industry as a result.
- Collaborate with Citco Technology to analyze, develop and enhance internal tools that support increased levels of automation and intuitive self-service for operations.

Qualifications
About You:
- Bachelor or master level degree in accounting, finance, economics or business disciplines mandatory.
- 15+ Years in financial services with an exposure to Operations mandatory.
- Financial instrument knowledge vanilla and OTC mandatory.
- Experience and success in managing and development of operational teams mandatory.
- Experience and potential to develop operating models in a middle office setting will be a distinct advantage.
- Experience and success in managing senior stakeholders will be a distinct advantage.
- Experience and success in a multi-cultural and global setting will be a distinct advantage.
- Industry networks will be an advantage.
