Monkoodog, a leading provider of pet care services, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Doctor to join our team in Gurugram, Haryana, India. As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to pets in need, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgical procedures, and educating pet owners on proper pet care. Another core responsibility will be to train Vets and paravets.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough medical examinations and diagnose illnesses and injuries in pets

Develop treatment plans and prescribe medication to address pet health issues

Perform surgical procedures such as spaying and neutering, orthopedic surgery, and soft tissue surgery

Administer vaccinations and other preventative care treatments

Educate pet owners on proper pet care and welfare, including nutrition, exercise, and preventative care

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all pets under your care

Collaborate with other veterinary professionals and pet care staff to provide comprehensive care for a pet

Provide support to other services provided by Monkoodog, such as pet training, pet walking, pet grooming, and home-veterinary services.

Handling Team of Vets & Paravets and training them.

Procuring pet care products and medicines

Qualifications:

Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution

Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in India

Several years of experience as a Veterinary Surgeon, preferably in a clinical setting

Strong surgical and medical skills, with a focus on providing the highest quality care to pet

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and other veterinarians
