Role Description :

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior UX Writer. We are seeking a UX Writer to lead writing efforts for business-critical APIs and other developer tools on internal and external websites.

The UX Writer will help shape the Developer Portal (Dev Portal) digital experience through copy and content. He/She will work closely with UX designers on the team.

The candidate will be responsible for writing and editing UI microcopy, creating content strategy, and collaborating with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver engaging user experiences. The candidate should have experience in consumer and/or enterprise technology settings.

Work samples demonstrating on-screen copywriting for UX applications are a must. Writing samples should reflect 3-5 years experience drafting brand-compliant copy for digital products (B2B, B2B2C and/or B2C)

Expectations from the candidate :

1. Evaluate content for compliance with voice standards and to improve quality, maximize word economy and comprehension.

2. Edit and fact-check content generated by technical writers and developers before it is published online.

3. Partner with UX designers to enhance text based on target audiences, form factors and other aspects.

4. Evaluate content for compliance with voice standards and to improve quality, maximise word economy and comprehension.

5. Adept at writing within an Agile workflows and using project management tools, including the Atlassian suite and Git, and more

6. Knowledge of and experience writing about APIs a plus.

7. Accustomed to high-tech environments and working with cross-functional product development, management and design teams.

8. Comfortable forging relationships with geographically-dispersed teams

Qualifications :

Technical Writing and UX Writing skills

Experience in creating content strategies for user interfaces

Excellent Writing skills

Experience in collaborating with designers, developers, and other stakeholders

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field

Experience in the tech industry is a plus.
