What will you be doing

Interaction Design Lead brings in strong subject knowledge and expertise in interaction design and are experts in UCD processes, Design thinking, UX design and digital innovation. They are responsible for designing the behaviour of interactive products, from overarching interaction models down to detailed micro-interactions. Interaction Design leads set the design foundation for a project and creates a framework of the entire design deliverable. They shape the core experience of products and services by gathering business, design and tech requirements in a program. Their expertise is required in creating high quality design deliverables (IA, Flows, Concepts, Navigation etc). They also collaborate closely with Visual Designers and Design Technologists to bring these to life in the final product.

As a design lead, you are expected to

Be the backbone of your projects from beginning to end. Should possess strong general and design consulting skills and can overcome projects conflicts and escalation very tactfully.

Contribute both, as an individual and a people's manager.

Plan, prioritize, and deliver interaction design activities autonomously, in the context of interdisciplinary projects.

Lead client conversations within your domain, provide articulate recommendations and help guiding the client choices.

• and groom a few junior designers for capacity building of the interaction design team and individual team member's growth in the organisation.
• to the pre-sale's phases: response strategy, methodology proposal and business development.

Your fellow frogs will rely on you to:

• up a framework for the program plan starting from Immersion to Delivery.
• communicate requirements and expectations from the clients to the team in the correct format.
• the gap between research insights and tangible concepts.
• sense of complex systems or large volumes of data and content and represent them in simplified models.
• concepts into meaningful narratives that speak to business opportunities, technical feasibility and organizational set up.
• the right interaction patterns to apply in each context.
• fluidly with visual designers and developers.

On a typical project you will:

• of vision, ideation and design workshops with the client and users.
• translate business requirements into user stories.
• secondary research, including trend benchmarking and competitor analysis.
• frameworks such as customer journeys, service blueprints or ecosystem maps based on the inputs from research.
• and priorities opportunity areas and translate them into concepts.
• wireframes, user flow diagrams and application maps.
• and test interactive prototypes.
• interaction design guidelines.
• MVP features and build a backlog of tasks.
• the definition of roadmaps in collaboration with strategy and technology teams.
• the interaction design team and provide them with continuous reviews and feedback to design and deliver high quality designs.
• resolution and handling escalation from client and internal teams.

We want you to have:

• 8 years of professional interaction design experience (although you might have had a different job title, like UX designer or product designer)
• developed design skills, demonstrated in your portfolio of recent works.
• presentation and storytelling abilities.
• years of leading a small team of designers in a project.
• in collaborating with multifunctional teams as an interaction design lead.
• with contemporary design and prototyping tools and methods.
• with frog's values, and a passion for creating products that meet peoples functional and emotional needs.
• level proficiency in English.

It would be a bonus if you have:

• university degree in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related design or behavioral science discipline.
• working in a variety of organizations (start-up, corporate, agency/consultancy).
