Senior Umbraco Developer

About the Role

In this role, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Umbraco to design, develop, and maintain complex websites. You will work closely with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to bring digital visions to life. You'll also be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest Umbraco trends and best practices, ensuring our development processes are continually optimized.

• Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Umbraco-based apps, adhering to strict coding standards, performance optimization principles, and security best practices.

• Customize Umbraco templates, create content types, and implement bespoke functionalities to meet specific project requirements.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (designers, front-end developers, back-end developers) to ensure seamless integration and successful project execution.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Umbraco CMS, website functionalities, and third-party integrations.

Champion SEO best practices and implement strategies to optimize website performance for search engines.

• Continuously stay updated on the latest Umbraco developments, tools, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement in our development processes.

Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.

• Qualifications

7-8 years of hands-on experience in development using C#, ASP.NET MVC and a solid understanding of .NET framework

• Strong proficiency on Umbraco with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Experience in Angular 8+ framework and Typescript.

• Excellent knowledge of web development technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Design and construction of our REST API

• Experience with database design and integration for Umbraco projects (e.g., MS SQL Server).

Top-notch problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Proficiency in version control systems like Git, Bitbucket.

Familiarity with DevOps including CI/CD workflows

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with designers, developers, and other stakeholders.

A passion for building high-quality, user-friendly websites and a desire to stay ahead of the curve in the Umbraco development landscape.

Experience with Umbraco Cloud and Heartcore.

• Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps for deployment and management.

Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG).
