Job Summary
The senior product designer is responsible for developing designs, crafting user journeys, and utilising the Company design system to craft new journeys for the mobile banking application. To ensure that the efforts are managed correctly, they will work hand in hand with other design team members as well as product owners to ensure that experiences are crafted correctly and cost-effectively. Also to develop new ideas that could enhance the experience of the mobile application, journey and digital products, as well as ensure that as an individual they are helping FAB stay up to date with various future banking initiatives.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & Experience
- A University degree in design-related studies or the equivalent
- Hands-on in agile development methodology
- Experience of minimum 7 years in designing mobile and web apps
- Strong knowledge of UX processes
- Good knowledge of digital strategy
- Previous exposure building experiences for banking or other financial institutes
- Good understanding of how design experiences translate into technology requirements.
- Experience with Figma, Miro, and and Protopie.
- Exposure to basic HTML / CSS
- Ability to set design requirements based on team briefings, customer requirements and user research.
- Manage implementation of new experiences through the mobile application
- Analyze and understand how new experiences and product amendments satisfy market needs and conditions.
- Work closely with the product engineers to suggest improvements for products and processes.
- Must have good knowledge of best practices in IOS and Android design
- Must have experience in building and managing design systems
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Recommend new tools and technologies that will enhance the FAB Mobile experience
- Dynamic and creative personality, as well as being effective at engaging and influencing various audiences.
- Fluent in oral and written English, working knowledge of Arabic is a plus, accountability
The Degree Or Level Of The Job Accountabilities Is Dependent Upon The Grade Of The Jobholder In The Jobholder Position. The Job Accountabilities For The Jobholder Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following
- Develop new experiences based on the documented requirements
- Design & maintain Company Mobile and web designs
- Knowledge and ability to suggest and apply changes to the UX flows and processes
- Experience UX practices such as testing and validation methods.
- Issues detection, tracking, resolution, and management, as well as reporting to the head of design
- Build proof of concept examples
- Work with head of design on grooming the backlog and prioritizing
- Document, log, track and report issues daily.
- Document test cases & coordinate QA testing and product owners
- Document change implementation details for release within the design team
- Hand over knowledge to relevant product owners.
