Senior UI/UX Designer

We seek a senior UI/UX designer consultant for a global Swedish company.

This is a nine-month contract starting June 24, 2024

Location onsite in Chakan.

Your tasks

Drive UI/UX development, together with the business team and SAP Fiori developers, to meet and exceed expectations for a Total Cost of Ownership application.

Soft skills:

Hard skills: Must Have

• Experience of designing in an agile environment or working with Lean UX or Design Sprint.
• Good knowledge of UI tools like Sketch, Photoshop, and InVision.
• Ability to deliver graphics to be used in development, like Icons (Creation of Icons)
• Solid UI design skills, keen sensitivity for composition and usability flow.
• Collaboration with developers.
• Good understanding of research and how data and instinct play into user decision-making.
• Experience in User Research methods like Interviews, etc.
• Experience in establishing and curating style guides.
• Understanding and meeting user needs.
• Experience in designing User Interfaces for mobile and web applications.

SAP Fiori Competence:

Demonstrated experience designing and implementing UX solutions using SAP Fiori, including familiarity with SAP Fiori guidelines and best practices.

Proficiency in Figma:

Extensive hands-on experience with Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.

Project Leadership and Planning:

Ability to lead UX projects, including planning, execution, and delivery within specified timelines. Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Scrum Master Experience:

Certified Scrum Master with a proven track record in leading Agile projects. Experience in facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

Application Development Portfolio:

A portfolio showcasing several successful application projects, particularly highlighting user-centred design processes and outcomes.

Experience with SAP Fiori Consultants:

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with SAP Fiori consultants and other technical team members to ensure design consistency and adherence to technical constraints.

Stakeholder Management:

Strong skills in managing multiple stakeholders and user groups, ensuring effective communication and alignment on project goals and user experience strategies

Impactful UI Design:

Demonstrated ability to create user interfaces that are visually appealing and functionally robust, with an understanding of how UI design impacts the overall success of a project.

Industrial Experience:

Experience in industrial software development, with a deep understanding of industrial environments unique challenges and requirements.

Hands-On Design Implementation:

Ability to not only design but also closely work with development teams to implement designs, ensuring fidelity to the original vision and adapting designs based on technical feedback and user testing results.
