As a Senior UI/UX Designer-Developer, you will be designing and implementing the interfaces for mispa s software in our newly established Development and Automation division. You will join at an early stage and have the opportunity to shape our UX processes. Together, we will create new ways for our customers to manage their security infrastructure.
Within 1 month you will
- Get a good understanding of our problem space and the solutions we offer.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prototype user-friendly interfaces.
- Participate in refinement sessions to develop story ideas and design solutions.
- Convert initial UI designs into functional HTML/CSS templates.
Within 3 months you will - Use your understanding of our customers needs to produce innovative workflows and ideas.
- Integrate your designs with our Python and Django backends.
- Understand our software stack and participate in its continued development.
- Participate in design and code reviews of new functionality
Within 6 months you will - Support other team members with your knowledge and ideas in UI/UX design.
- Write integration tests to validate our interfaces.
- Develop a deep understanding of firewall management and security topics.
- Expand your horizons by learning new techniques and technologies
- Initiate new projects and implementations from scratch.
- Use A/B testing and other techniques to improve usability.
What do we need from you - A keen eye for design and attention to detail.
- You love to make things easy to use.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS, with the ability to understand and create basic designs.
- Basic programming knowledge in Python and a desire to learn more.
- Experience with dynamic user interfaces using JavaScript or TypeScript, and/or HTML.
- At least 7 years of experience in a software development environment
