Senior Test Engineer (iOS)- Education: B.E./B.Tech, MCA
- Experience: 3-6 Years, Experience in iOS Mobile/Apple TV Application Testing Manual + Automation (Preferred Exp of OTT industry)
Quality Engineering - Manual Testing
- Good knowledge of testing processes (SDLC/STLC)
- Experience on Audio/Player playback testing
- Feature Testing, Sanity Testing, Regression Testing, Exploratory Testing, Ad-Hoc
Tesng, Security Tesng, Monkey Tesng, Interrupon Tesng
- Ensure test case design and execution methodologies are technically sound
- Responsible for creating test cases, detailing test cases, test plans, and
consolidang and reporng test results.
- Design and implement quality process and quality metrics for the applications
across
- Experience of using Charles or Any proxy tool to check/modify api request and
response for application
- Experience on basic sys logging & xcode commands
- Experience to verify data analytics of application
- Experience on any crash analytics tool like firebase to check crash logs
- Knowledge of debugging & logs of application
- Knowledge of API, CMS
Quality Engineering - Automation
- Good understanding of test automation on iOS mobile/ Apple TV Application
- Experience of automation on cloud devices/remote devices
- Good experience on XCUI Test/Selenium/Appium Framework and Java/Swift
- Good understanding of Shell scripting and code management tools
- Good understanding of frameworks for performance and KPI
- Good understanding of processes and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise in various situations.
- Responsible for the timely development and maintenance of most critical
automaon frameworks
8 Responsible for using the latest technologies to design and maintain automation for existing and new products.
- Expertise on CICD (Git/Jenkins) related to automation for remote execution
- Responsible for developing automation dashboards and reports to quality
engineering
Tools Experience Required
- Xcode, Eclipse, Appuim, Charles, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, firebase
Technical Knowledge
- Should have good knowledge and experience in Automation frameworks
development and execuon from scratch
- Should have good hands-on knowledge of app technologies, Web Services, APIs
Gateways for mobile apps.
- Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g.
Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and Exposure to Agile or iterative
SDLCs.
- Good understanding and experience on process automation
- Strong programming skills in Java and scripting languages
- Beer understanding of iOS operating systems and Cloud platforms
(AWS/GCP/Azure) and CDNs is preferred.
- Should have excellent programming/coding and logical skills.
