Overseas client is seeking a skilled
Technical Writer with experience in the payments industry to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and usability for a diverse audience.
The Europe based Payment Technology company with a comprehensive set of services in the payment processing industry including Schemes and Proprietary Debit/Credit/Prepaid Card Issuing, Clearing, Authorization, Reconciliation, Merchant Acquiring, Transaction Management, Infrastructure Support and Maintenance, PCI Compliance, Schemes Compliance, end-to-end Processing and Consultancy,
- Location: Initially Remote (India) & then onsite (Europe)
Key Responsibilities
Develop, write, and edit comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and system manuals.
Collaborate with engineering, business, and support teams to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.
Create clear and concise instructions, tutorials, and troubleshooting guides for both technical and non-technical users.
Maintain and update the documentation as new features are introduced.
Ensure consistency and adherence to company style guides and standards.
Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the payments industry.
Strong understanding of card management systems within the payment industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Proficiency with documentation tools such as Notion and SharePoint or similar tools.
Experience with API documentation tools is a plus.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Must be proficient in the English language
Nice to Have
Experience with PRIME card management system.
Experience with Online card authorisation system.
Background in FinTech or related industries.
