Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Technical Writer. As a Senior Technical Writer at SpeechAce, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, user-focused documentation for our speech recognition technology products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and clarity in all documentation. This is a remote role, and you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field. Computer Science background is a bonus.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role in premier software company, preferably working for API products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
• Excellent aesthetics and design sense.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them in clear and concise language
• Familiarity with documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with subject matter experts
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
