The TSE provides technical support to customers and other departments. Handles technical issues of low to moderate complexity with little to no supervision. Specialized in one area/product with good customer care skills. Knowledgeable about internal procedures, processes, and tools. Excellent team player and communicator with very good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

In This Role, You Will

  • Engage customers, partners and prospects to explain concepts, solve issues and train their employees.
  • Follows Industry best-practices/ Progress policies on workflow
  • Funnel customer feedback into the Product/Engineering organization
  • Test release candidates for field readiness
  • Escalate internally to management if a customer situation is not getting adequate attention
  • Conduct Webinars and workshops

Your Background

  • Experience in Customer facing technical roles
  • Excellent Written and Oral communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Technical Skills: Networking fundamentals and Protocols (DNS,TCP/IP, SSH, IPv4/6/Sec, FTP, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP)
  • Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load balancers
  • Server administration skills (Windows/Linux)
  • Virtualization VMWare etc
  • Devops principles conceptual knowledge
  • Database (SQL , NoSQL) conceptual knowledge
  • Willingness to work in US shifts.
