Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Manager with hands-on experience in data-related technologies and a strong background in program management. The ideal candidate will have 15-18 Years of Experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience with Cloudera/Hadoop, Big Query, HBase, MongoDB, MySQL/SQL, and data flow pipelines. This role requires an in-depth understanding of retail business processes, accounting, and finance, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise:

· Utilize hands-on experience in Cloudera/Hadoop, Big Query, HBase, MongoDB, MySQL/SQL, and data flow pipelines.

· Apply knowledge of real-time message processing and reporting.

· Manage and govern petabytes of data efficiently.

2. Program Management:

· Track business KPIs and map them to technical KPIs for daily monitoring.

· Work closely with customer engineering and product teams to manage day-to-day activities.

· Raise and track product changes to ensure smooth operations.

3. Non-Technical / Business related:

· Have a comprehensive understanding of the retail business.

· Possess knowledge of accounting and finance concepts, including AP/AR, GMV, revenue, tax, TCS, and TDS.

· Lead and guide the technical team to achieve daily objectives.

· Foster a collaborative team environment and provide technical direction.

· Engage effectively with senior directors and clients.

· Exhibit excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

· Bachelors degree

· 15-18 Years of Overall experience with Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data-related technologies such as Cloudera/Hadoop, Big Query, HBase, MongoDB, MySQL/SQL, and data flow pipelines.

· Proven program management skills with the ability to track and map business and technical KPIs.

· Strong understanding of retail business processes and accounting/finance concepts.

· Experience in real-time message processing and data governance / management.

· Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a technical team.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with senior client stakeholders.

· Experience working with senior directors and executive management.

· Prior experience in handling large-scale data systems.

Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
