Job Responsibilities

Design, Architect and Develop web applications in LAMP (Linux, Apache, Mysql and PHP) environment.

Adopt new and emerging technologies to provide solutions to client needs

Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into suitable solution architecture

Experience with high volume web application development

Understanding in Web 2.0 concepts - online communities, blogs, wikis.

Communication responsibility to all relevant project stakeholders for project progress and issues

Provides leadership to project team to define and translate business process based requirements and business rules for system development

Work effectively and efficiently with internal and external technical and business teams

Effective use of time management, planning and organization skills

Solid knowledge of the project development and software development life cycle

Ability to technically initiate, lead, motivate and mentor a team

Be flexible to work on varied technologies and cater to time difference needs

Ability to conduct formal and informal training and learning sessions

Attention to detail is extremely important

Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time

Familiar with enterprise- class web applications and related technologies

Experience in functional and QA testing concepts would be an asset

8 Years experience in all phases of full SDLC for Enterprise level Applications Expert Knowledge:

Complete SDLC documentation

Working Knowledge in areas (added advantage/ optional):

Experience in using SCM tools like CVS, SVN, GIT etc and using issue- tracking tools like Redmine / JIRA / Mantis etc
