Senior Technical Architect

Main Tasks

Work in the field of general Software Development such as:

tasks as a Software Developer / Technical Architect in the backend area, going through all project phases such as concept, design, implementation, testing, documentation until delivery.

work in a team which is part of an agile software development organization following Scrum and SAFe

Work in the area of cloud computing and IoT:

Concept, design and realization activities to build a standardized Clients IoT Platform using Microsoft Azure

Implementation of software example for the device-to-cloud connectivity, the capability for device management and its device configuration from the cloud.

Develop cloud-based apps on top of Industrial IoT big data

Packing of software to a reusable API/SDK, including Interface description and general documentation (Cookbook, Manuals)

Graduate in Computer Science

Expertise

Expertise in Agile Software Development

Ability to work in a structured and goal-oriented manner with a lean but quality-oriented approach.

Defining and documenting Software Architecture

Software Design Patterns

Knowledge in Cloud-Patterns (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and IoT-Patterns

Knowledge in IoT Technologies and Platforms such as Microsoft Azure

Expertise in Object-Oriented Software Development

Expertise in C#-Programming, .NET-Framework

Knowledge in Azure Devops, API, Azure Storage/services, Docker

Expertise in building automated tests on the appropriate levels of the v-model in software testing.

Build-/Release-Management

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German would be an asset.

• + 8 Years experience in SW Development
• + 5 Years experience working in Agile Teams and cloud-based software.
• Experience working in a multinational, multilocation team.
• Strong quality mindset and eager to automate (testing, building, deploying, releasing, )
• Willingness to travel (20 30%)
