Senior Tax Analyst

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior tax analyst to join Vybe Cabs finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax compliance, planning, and strategy, particularly within the transportation or technology sectors. This role will involve managing all aspects of our tax obligations, ensuring compliance with local and national tax laws, and providing strategic tax planning to optimize our financial performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate Filing of all tax returns, Including GST, Income tax, And other statutory taxes.
• Able to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate tax reporting in financial statements.
• People management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Prepare for and manage tax audits, liaise, with tax authorities, and provide necessary documents and explanations.
• Experienced in determining book-to-tax differences and state adjustments.
• Experienced with state apportionment calculations.
• Work closely with other departments, including Legal, Operations, and HR, to ensure integrated and effective tax processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax roles.
• Proficient in tax software and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of GST, income tax, and other relevant tax laws in India.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
