Senior System Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned System Engineer with 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing infrastructure on Azure and AWS, Linux systems, and automation through Shell Scripting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server monitoring and management, as well as experience with Apache configuration. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and robust cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Linux Systems Administration:
• Manage and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement security best practices and ensure system integrity.
• Automation & Scripting:
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation of routine tasks and system management.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management processes.
• Server Monitoring & Maintenance:
• Implement and manage server monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
• Proactively identify and resolve system issues and bottlenecks.
• Web Server Management:
• Configure and maintain Apache web servers to support web applications.
• Ensure optimal performance and security of web servers.
• Collaboration & Support:
• Work closely with development, QA, and other teams to support deployment and operation of applications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration.
• Expertise in Shell Scripting for automation.
• Experience with server monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).
• In-depth knowledge of Apache configuration and management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Linux.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
