Required Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of real hands-on experience in Linux system/Windows/ VMWare administration, G-Suite/M365 administration and storage administration tasks and troubleshooting
- Candidates should not be limited to only one of the following but should have a combination of the following skills
- Experience with Linux server builds, administration and troubleshooting, Experience with Microsoft server OS and Active Directory administration, VMWare infrastructure administration and configuration.
- Support corporate unified communications systems, such as MS Hybrid Exchange, MS Teams, and M365
- Experience with AWS cloud will be highly desirable.
- Administration Experience with M365 administration and setting up SSO with M365 and Active Directory
- Experience with building and managing high throughput database servers on Linux
- installation, monitoring and configuration management Configuration and management of DNS, Mail (SMTP, IMAP, POP), and SFTP services
- Server backups and data recovery tools and technologies (NetBackup, VeeamBackup)
- Experience with installation / patching of operating systems, application software
- Deep knowledge of underlying hardware subsystems / technologies and troubleshooting experience
- Deep knowledge of storage subsystems and technologies
- Exposure to other IT areas helpful to assist in troubleshooting. Including Networking, Firewalls and Switches
- NAS & SAN storage management with a focus on HP 3PAR, EMC and Pure storage
- Good verbal and written communication skills, must be able to interact within the team and other technical groups, AWS and Azure knowledge a plus
- Troubleshooting Windows, Outlook, Teams, Citrix. VDI, VPN, Security App etc. over Remote Support
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Installation, configuration, maintenance, and trouble-shooting Linux / Windows based systems, VMWare, and NAS/SAN infrastructure.
- Working in India and UK time zones. Individuals are expected to be part of support team for 24/7/365 support
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years experience managing Windows and Linux systems
- 2+ years experience supporting MS Exchange, Teams and M365
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field
- At the Manager's discretion, 4 years of additional related experience may substitute for the degree requirement; if substitution allowed, regional equivalent to High School Diploma is required.
