Job Title: Supply Chain and Third-Party Risk Management Lifecycle Specialist
As the Supply Chain and Third-Party Risk Management Lifecycle Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing supply chain processes, manage risks associated with third-party suppliers across the engagement lifecycle, and handling invoicing and contracting activities.
You will play a critical role in driving a predictive and proactive approach to managing third-party risks. This role will involve working hands-on with third-party suppliers and internal cross-functional and business teams in managing third-party risks.
This is a global role and will require you to work with teams located in the Americas, EMEA and APAC.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the organization's supply chain operations while minimizing risk exposure.
- Develop and implement a third-party risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and standards.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with third-party vendors and service providers. Manage all aspects of third-party risk throughout the engagement lifecycle, from screening, onboarding, assessment, risk mitigation, monitoring, and offboarding.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client-specific agreements related to supply chain, vendor management, invoicing, and contracting.
- Conduct risk assessments of existing and potential vendors to identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage the invoicing process including verification of invoices, resolution of discrepancies, and timely processing in alignment with client contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Facilitate contract negotiations and oversee the contract lifecycle management process for third-party engagements, including drafting, reviewing, and executing contracts with third-party suppliers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the third-party risk management framework.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory developments related to supply chain management and vendor risk.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to key internal stakeholders on third-party risk.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in third-party supplier management, risk assessment, third-party risk management governance, policies, organizational structures, and best practices.
- 8+ years of experience in third-party management, sourcing, or procurement, with at least 3 years focused on third-party risk management.
- Experience in working with global teams with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent knowledge of risk management principles and practices, including risk assessment methodologies.
- Working knowledge of how TPRM capabilities may be supported by GRC and/or other assurance tools. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Expertise in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) credentials are a plus.
