JR68358 Senior Supply Chain Engineer - BY ESP
As Senior Supply Chain Engineer - BY ESP, you will be responsible for crafting efficient and scalable supply planning solutions powering Micron's multi-billion dollar semiconductor supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Highlight and drive resolution to issues in Planning. Gaps between strategy, manufacturing capability, and market demand
- Build, study, and summarize impacts of various what-if scenarios
- Engage in scenario analysis, understanding supply chain dynamics, and solution design in Blue Yonder - Enterprise Supply Planning (BY-ESP).
- Build an understanding of the interaction of Supply Chain technology solutions and partner with Supply Chain and IT to drive improvements
- Identify process gaps, improvement opportunities, and collaborate with key partners to implement robust processes3-5 bullet points
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate level degree in Operations Research, Industrial Production Engineering/Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, MBA will be added advantage
- Strong technical knowledge of planning solutions from Blue Yonder/JDA
- Proficiency in SQL for in-depth data analysis and insights presentation.
- Familiarity with Industrial Engineering concepts (queueing theory, lean, theory of constraints, Little's Law, optimization).
- Exceptional critical thinking skills.
Education and Experience:
- 8+ years in IT, Supply Chain, or Planning.
- 6+ years in SCM - Supply Planning, Demand Planning & S&OP systems.
- Extensive experience in Blue Yonder/JDA - Enterprise Supply Planning (BY ESP).
- Experience in implementing any new medium or large-scale enterprise wide supply chain solution
- Working familiarity with several supply chain tools in supply planning, demand planning, and sales and operations planning
- Experience with planning in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
