Job Overview
A Senior Staff role that will focus on providing capabilities/APIs for OPC processes, scaling the Proteus Infrastructure to support increasingly complex geometric operations. This includes being able to distribute compute jobs for high-performance computing across many thousands of servers. The global chip market is moving rapidly and delivering software capabilities to support and enable the growth in autonomous systems that is what we deliver each day. Part of this exciting role may include interacting with key customer partners to ensure we are delivering the solutions they need for current IC production needs.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Design scalable infrastructure for handling large geometric datasets in OPC.
- Optimize distributed systems for large-scale OPC workloads, including GPU acceleration.
- Implement robust system monitoring and troubleshooting protocols for distributed environments.
- Collaborate with foundry partners to address production line challenges.
- Work closely with teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physical Sciences.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on computational geometry and distributed processing.
- Expertise in C++, Python, and distributed computing environments.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting production-related issues.
- Combination of good communicator and collaborator.
