Job Overview
A Senior Staff role on the Proteus Infrastructure Team will be responsible for designing, developing and debugging software used in Synopsys family of Mask Synthesis tools. This important role utilizes modern programming techniques and platforms to develop the powerful backend for distributed processing on many thousands of CPU with additional GPU acceleration. This team works to maintain and improve compression, performance, and scalability, all while enabling a stable platform for the critical stages of semiconductor manufacturing. Responsibilities And Duties
- Design software to support geometric data analysis and high-performance computing for OPC solutions as well as lithographic verification.
- Optimize infrastructure for distributed computing, ensuring stable GPU integration.
- Collaborate with partner development teams to ensure efficient data handling and computational resource allocation.
- Debug and troubleshoot infrastructure issues related to production line integration.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the tool to meet performance and scalability requirements.
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or the Physical Sciences.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on computational geometry and distributed processing.
- Expertise in C++, Python, and distributed computing environments on Linux.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting critical software issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a global team.
