It aims to bridge the gap between raw data, features and meaningful actionable insights, based on Machine Learning. As an engineer on the team, you ll be participating in the design and development of the Glue Feature Engineering Workbench and related services. You ll have an opportunity to understand the Machine Learning life cycle and to develop a Services supporting the expression and application of transformations and flows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Knowledge and experience in building production systems using Java
- Strong knowledge of Java ecosystem
- Knowledge and experience in building VSCode extensions.
- Knowledge and experience in Eclipse Theia and Eclipse Che or similar technologies.
- Experience in Machine Learning projects
- Contributions to or customisations of large OSS projects
- Experience in Parsers, Compilers and Interpreters
SKILLS EXPERIENCE - Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of Java and related technologies
- Experience building Production applications with major frameworks such as Spring.
- Strong knowledge of functional, reactive and object-oriented programming
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and multi-threading.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and associated technologies
- Experience with AWS or Azure or OCI and associated technologies
- Experience in big data technologies (e.g. Apache Beam and Spark)
- Hands-on experience with DevOps approach
- Experience with clean code and automated testing methodologies
- Strong knowledge of SDLC build tools
- Comfortable learning new languages and technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
