JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Lead to manage and drive SAP MM implementations, enhancements, and support across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP MM modules and a proven ability to lead teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver successful SAP projects.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP MM solutions to meet business needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP MM-related processes, addressing both functional and technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions.
- Configure SAP MM modules, including Procurement, Inventory Management, Material Master Data, and Invoice Verification.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, FI, WM) and external systems.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to SAP MM team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Manage and oversee system upgrades, patches, and support packages for SAP MM.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and test plans.
- Monitor and optimize SAP MM system performance, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with business processes.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and workshops to ensure effective use of SAP MM functionalities.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM implementation, configuration, and support.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM processes, including Procurement (P2P), Inventory Management, and Material Master Data.
- Proven experience in leading SAP MM projects and managing cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of integration points with other SAP modules like SD, FI, PP, and WM.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA MM functionalities is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex scenarios.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP MM certification or equivalent.
- Experience in working with global SAP implementations and rollouts.
- Knowledge of Ariba integration or other procurement platforms.
- Expertise in SAP Fiori apps for MM processes.
- Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
