Senior Specialist - Transport
Has overall responsibility to manage the vehicle placement on time and effectively utilizing and managing of trucks for VMI business. Ensuring timely delivery of goods to customer place in intact condition. Manage the entire load planning process for and shipments execution process. Partners with internal and external vendors to exchange and obtain information. This is an IC role.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure the Vehicle Placement on-time. Manage the Trucks with the VMI Business.
- Ensure on-time delivery to Customer place and Safety of goods been maintained.
- Manage the entire load planning process for and shipments execution process
- Establish and maintain the utilization, condition, and accountability of vehicles and equipment
- Assist in planning, SOPs, assignment of duties, and the meeting of contractual requirements.
- Partners with internal and external vendors to exchange and obtain information.
- Prepares permit credentials and distributes to clients corporate or fleet locations
Skill Sets/Experience We Require
- Ability of handling of supply chain & logistics management
- Ability of vendor management, material management
- Understand relevant SOPs and compliances.
- Strong communication and organizational skills and knowledge of excel.
- Ability to work on multi task.
- Good in MIS & Reports
- Ability of price negotiation, vendor management.
- Ability to route planning, resource planning.
- Strong communication and organizational skills and knowledge of excel.
- Minimum 5-7 years of overall experience of Transport & logistics management, preferably from supply chain and logistics industry.
Pedigree
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications in Supply Chain Management
