Senior Sourcing Manager - Apparel

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sourcing Manager to lead our apparel sourcing efforts, ensuring we have a consistent supply of high-quality products that meet our brand standards and customer expectations.

Position Overview:

The Senior Sourcing Manager will oversee the entire sourcing process for our apparel line, from vendor selection and negotiation to quality control and delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of the apparel industry, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team management: Lead a team of merchandisers and help them achieve the sourcing targets as well as business targets well within the expected timelines.
• Building relationships: Developing relationships with vendors, building and leveraging internal business partner relationships
• Negotiating: Negotiating pricing and controlling costs, Setting working SOPs with Key Vendor Partners
• Sourcing: Sourcing the right set of vendor partners for Activewear considering the overall need in terms of missing skillset, capacity, category Gap etc. Vendor development for smooth procurement process.
• Collaboration: Need to ensure that the decision-making process is supported by technical and functional knowledge of the category and is aligned with the team overall
• Fabric Sourcing: Support Design team in sourcing of fabrics for specific needs.
• Working Process: Define SOPs and set up working methodology to ensure timely production follow-up Clear communication with supplier for timely supply
• Continuous Improvement: Implement methods and procedures to drive continuous improvement, create efficiencies, reduce cost, and improve service to the New Balance markets.
• Capacity Management: Share a quarterly / seasonal forecast with vendors to ensure the capacity is well planned for Cult and we don't face supply chain issues.
• Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks: Measure actual performance against goals. KPI's include on-time delivery, competitive cost, efficient sampling, quality etc.

Skills Required:

1. Activewear brand background is a must or someone who has good know of both poly and Cotton garments.

2.Sourcing manager should have strong analytical, negotiation, contracting and communication skills.

3. Should have adequate skills to develop and implement sourcing and negotiation strategies for the company.

4. Ability to think strategically so that the company can take advantage of business processes, industry dynamics, supplier experiences, and manufacturing practices, and general market conditions, etc.

5. Ability to perform financial analysis of the cost of every sourcing.

6. Ability to work with various levels of the supplier from the local and international market.

7. Excellent teamwork skills and proven aptitude to partner effectively with a wide range of stakeholders (i.e., top management, colleagues, suppliers, and internal/external customers).

8. Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude.

9. He /She should be Ok to travel, meet vendors on and off to ensure business relationship continuity and a smooth supply chain maintenance .
