Responsible for escalated (tier3/tier4) operational support and responsiveness for all functional areas related to the team s areas of responsibilities which includes troubleshooting and/or working with vendors to diagnose and resolve issues
Collaborate with other IT professionals and business subject matter experts to create and deliver solutions for a broad range of business needs
Write specifications, code, scripts and configuration as needed to implement proposed solutions
Develop automation within solutions to deliver efficiently maintained and with a focus on minimizing operational impacts
Research, design, implement, and validate solutions for a broad range of projects or initiatives in the group while serving as a subject matter expert
Oversee the various operations, development, experimentation, and test environments used by the team
Document current processes and procedures related to configuration and solutions for application and systems owned by the team
Administer tools, solutions, systems, processes, and procedures with a focus on scale and continuous improvement
May serve as team lead or mentor to other solutions engineers
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in technology or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of related experience required; experience in a professional services environment preferred
Direct experience developing, implementing and administering solutions for a variety of cloud and on-premise applications and systems
Proven ability to quickly learn and appropriately exploit new technologies to solve challenging problems in the domain
Experience collaborating with tech leads, project managers, analysts, business partners and other IT teams to develop solutions to complex issues
Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to own and drive project schedule from start to finish, including managing peers and individual s senior to you
Understanding of core Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, COBIT, ISO 20000, etc., or equivalent process management framework as well as software development life cycle and asset management best practices
Experience developing, scripting and implementing automation
Experience with IT Security compliance requirements around implementations with ability incorporate into solutions both reactively and proactively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical issues and material to non-technical audience
