nA Day in the Life
nSenior Software Product Owner with experience in Agile and Stakeholder Management. Should have worked in a Dynamic environment while handling multiple projects parallely. Previous Medical Domain experience is preferred.
nResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
nProduct Vision & Strategy:
  • nCollaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with business goals and customer needs.
  • nClearly communicate the product vision to the scrum team and ensure alignment with the business strategic objectives.
nProduct Backlog Management:
  • nCollaborate with global Product Owner to manage the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-groomed by working with the architects/scrum team members
  • nWrite clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and other relevant documentation.
  • nTranslate high level strategy product direction into work breakdown and prioritization for the backlog
  • nContinuously refine and prioritize the backlog based on changing requirements, marketing feedback, and technical feasibility.
nStakeholder Engagement:
  • nAct as the primary point of contact between business unit stakeholders and the scrum team.
  • nGather and translate business requirements into product features and functionality in collaboration with global Product Owner
  • nRegularly communicate progress, updates, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
nSprint Planning & Execution:
  • nCollaborate with the Scrum Master and scrum team during sprint planning, ensuring that high-priority tasks are selected for development.
  • nExperience with agile product development including requirements and work management in epics and stories
  • nParticipate in daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide guidance and clarity on product requirements.
  • nEnsure that the development team fully understands the features and delivers high-quality, customer-focused products.
nSuccess Measurement:
  • nDefine and track product backlog readiness and make data-driven decisions for future improvements
  • nHaving a complete overview of the quality standards of the product and guide the team accordingly

nDIFFERENTIATING FACTORS

nRequired Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • nSolid understanding of software development processes & functional use cases and the ability to effectively communicate with technical teams.
  • nPractical knowledge of Product and its usecases
  • nRequires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as a PO and managing the stakeholders
  • nReadiness to understand and enhance the product functionally
  • nShould be excellent in stakeholder management
  • nExperienced in managing teams with end to end product accountability
  • nExcellent communication skills
  • nShould have handled dynamic work environment and show flexibility in playing multiple roles where needed to ensure the product commitments and quality
  • nProven track record of building effective, collaborative relationships with OU
  • nShould be instrumental in engaging and driving any process changes
  • n Agile/Scrum Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is a must. Certified Scrum Master is a plus.
  • nLeadership: Strong leadership abilities to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority and drive results.
  • nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering
nCommunication and Influence:
  • nCommunicates with senior internal and external customers and vendors.
  • nExchange information of facts, status, ideas and issues to achieve objective, and influence decision-making.
  • nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product vision, requirements, and priorities.
nLeadership and Talent Management:
  • nMay provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.
  • nMay manage projects, requiring delegation of work and review of others work product.
