Job Description
You'll join Xplor Personal Services and our Global Technology team the team that provides the support and expertise to specialty care businesses like dry-cleaners and laundry services. We build the platforms they need to support their customers and keep life moving.
Responsibilities
You'll help us enhance our industry-leading platform used by our customer base to run their businesses. Some of the other responsibilities you'll have:
- Contribute to the development and execution of a technology roadmap to support our strategy and objectives, responsible for the execution of that roadmap.
- Review and work on complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
- Design and implement highly reliable and performant services.
- Collaborate with product owners to understand business requirements and create technical specifications for new features and functionalities.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to junior engineers on the team.
- Adhere to the software release process for software development, including source code management, change management and documentation.
- Taking a proactive approach to drive innovation and creative solutions through cutting-edge technologies and implementation of best practice tools, processes and initiatives.
- Provide technical product improvement suggestions to improve quality, performance and maintainability of the application.
- Communicate with engineering departments including Product Management, Quality Assurance, DevOps and other engineering teams.
- Review and provide feedback on product requirements, visual designs and testing plans.
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of professional experience with Full Stackdevelopment focused primarily on Microsoft .NET stack.
- At least 5 years of experience with SQL Server.
- Expert-level knowledge with multiple programming languages such C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, one or more front-end Javascript frameworks (ie., Vue JS, Angular, React).
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture with knowledge across Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Strong hands-on experience in Microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-motivated learner with a strong drive to achieve personal goals.
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment with a high degree of ownership
- Experience with Blazor .NET is a plus.
