In your day to day role you will
Design, build and operate scalable solutions at the heart of PayPal
Build and take operational responsibility of critical user interfaces used for transacting in millions of dollars a day
Work closely with a cross-functional team including product, business stakeholders, back-end engineers and UX to come up with solutions to solve business problems
Provide technical and domain thought-leadership and mentoring to other members of the team.
Identify areas of technical improvement and make detailed business cases for improvements or new areas of opportunities
What do you need to bring
A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience, with 4+ years of relevant industry experience
Strong front-end engineering skills with hands-on experience on React JS, Javascript, HTML, CSS, & Nodejs
Experience with front-end test frameworks like Jest, Jasmine or Cypress and CI / CD tools
Experience developing automated unit, integration, and functional tests
Experience in performance aspects like caching, code splitting, lazy loading, pagination, etc. & Security aspects like authentication, CORS, xss.
Experience working on financial applications and data-intensive applications / dashboards is a plus
Experience working with UX designers is a plus
