Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer at Xactly, youll be an essential member of a fast moving agile development team building applications on the Extend platform. You will contribute to all aspects from design, development and testing to deployment and ongoing support working alongside product management and customer support. Youll be responsible for taking personal ownership in both your code and others, this includes ensuring proper tests, documentation and communication around development.

Xactly is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to enhance our suite of apps built on our Extend platform. This individual is strong in Java, knows SQL and has a special interest in UI/UX.

The Skill Set
- Associate/bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or other relevant fields
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in an environment where you were leading the technical advancement of the team
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Strong programming experience in Java
- Strong SQL query knowledge
- Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development
- Passionate to develop Unit Tests and Integration Tests that have high code coverage
- Experience on a team using the Agile Scrum methodology where you broke down epics into features, stories and tasks in order to properly estimate and plan work into sprints
Nice-to-have Skills
- Working on a team in a SAFe Portfolio and ART
- Experience in developing and maintaining web applications using the SpringBoot framework
- Exposure to build and deployment tools like Harness/Jenkins & Maven

- Helping troubleshoot issues;

- Be the goto person for any product related questions;
- Have enough knowledge about the product to refactor it on another platform or framework;
- Mentor other developers to elevate their careers to the next level;
