As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and building systems at scale. With a tech stack that includes TypeScript for APIs, Python for AI/ML scripts, and a cloud infrastructure powered by AWS, GCP, and Terraform, you'll work on infrastructure setup, API development, security, and mentorship. This role is ideal for someone with experience in early-stage environments and a strong sense of ownership over the tech stack from backend to frontend.
What You'll Do
- Develop APIs: Build and document clean, efficient APIs for seamless customer integrations.
- Infrastructure Management: Set up, run, scale, and maintain secure infrastructure on AWS and GCP using Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
- Security & Privacy: Implement fool-proof security measures across the stack, including encryption, hashing, and VPC configurations.
- Production Operations: Manage production deployments, including logging, monitoring, and on-call processes.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers to foster growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Infrastructure Replication: Create Terraform scripts to replicate infrastructure easily across regions.

About You
- Experience in Early-Stage Environments: You've built or scaled systems from scratch, ideally in early-stage companies (0 to 1 or 1 to 10 stages).
- Proven Track Record: We care more about your portfolio of projects, open-source contributions, and side projects than formal credentials.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in TypeScript/Node.js, with strong knowledge of API integration, secure system design, and infrastructure management.
- Generative AI Knowledge: Familiarity with generative AI models and LLMs; you understand concepts like hallucinations and token optimization and have a bias for hands-on tinkering.
- Bias for Action: You have a demonstrated bias for action and decision-making, with the ability to execute rapidly and iterate on feedback.
