nThe Role

Veeva is looking for a passionate Software Engineer to work at our Hyderabad location. You'll work in the Automation Engineering team, which utilizes modern technologies and best practices to deliver seamless releases to all our Veeva's Event Management customers.

nWhat You'll Do
- nContribute towards building test automation framework
- nContribute towards creation of automation test scripts
- nContribute towards reducing the test automation backlog
- nWork with leads to arrive at metrics for measuring the code quality for test automation suite
- nReview code written by team members and suggest optimization
- nMentor junior team members to resolve the technical issues they face
- nCreating an automation test plan and review with functional QA
- nCreating, Enhancing, Debugging and Running Test Cases
- nOrganizing, monitoring defect management process, handling changes and conducting regression tests
- nFind solutions for issues related to object identity issues and error handling
- nCoordinate with business and the development team to solve the issues
- nCreate a software defect tracking report entire project release status to stakeholders
- nAnalyze the failure and identify the root cause and make the team understand the root cause
- nCoordinate with QA Architect to update the status
nRequirements
- nExperience in the fields of Software Testing, Test Automation, and/or Software Development with Advanced level of Test Automation. Total experience of 7+ years
- nExperience in Cucumber or Selenium framework or similar, with working knowledge in CI/CD tools (Azure Devops)
- nExperience in API/Service layer testing (POSTMAN)
- nExperience in Mobile Testing and Automation - Appium, XCUI, Espresso
- nExperience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- nExcellent team collaboration and communication skills
- nAbility to solve complex test automation tasks beyond standard capabilities of test automation tools
- nAbility to perform test automation tool evaluations in focus area
- nAbility to setup test automation on the project
- nExperience in Java, JavaScript programming
nNice to Have
- nFull-Time experience in Software Automation
- nExperience with source code version control systems such as Azure DevOps
- nSolid understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
- nComputer Science or related bachelor's degree
