Design, implement, test, and develop services and features for media/video-based software applications/products.
Consult with internal stakeholders to determine the scope of User Stories. Translate User Stories to actionable Development tasks.
Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures. Assist SQA and Support personnel.
Collaborate with the cross-functional, cross-site Agile teams in developing high quality features/applications/ products
Software/product optimization by performing maintenance, updates, and upgrades.
Documenting processes and maintaining software development records
Owns success - Responsible for successful delivery of the solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer-Science / Electronics or equivalent.
Proficiency in C, C++, C#, and .NET technologies with an acumen for code analysis, debugging and problem solving. u2022 Excellent knowledge and understanding of OOP concepts.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software development.
Experience in working with media/video-based applications/products. o File /streaming based media formats for professional and VOD/OTT markets. o Media based metadata / Audio-Video codecs.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work with a team of both senior and junior engineers. Mentor, while being mentored.
Quick learner, self-motivated, proactive, work independently but can also collaborate with the team. Desirable Additional Strengths:
Ability to read, understand and translate standard documents to source code.
Experience working with source control systems such as Git/Bitbucket/Stash, continuous integration tools such as TeamCity/Jenkins and scrum tools such as Jira.
Experience with containerized/cloud environment development.
Experience working as part of a small, focused, and agile product development team
