We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Java on z/OS Mainframe to strengthen our development teams to support existing and future products for our customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Driving the further development of a net-new product stack to increase the efficiency of large-scale customer applications.
Supporting the entire product life cycle, from requirements analysis over implementation and testing to delivery
Working in a software development process according to the principles of Lean and Agile
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor s or Master s degree in computer science or equivalent
Strong background in IBM z/OS Mainframe environments
Extensive Java experience of at least 5 years experience under IBM z/OS
Proven knowledge in Java Database Connectivity JDBC
Powerful debugging and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of COBOL and/ or C is a plus
Experience with databases on the mainframe, such as Db2, Adabas or IMS DB is a plus
Good skills of CICS, VSAM, SQLJ and WebSphere Liberty would complete your profile
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
