Back End Developer

Education Qualification: Any Graduate

Responsibilities

Back end Development:

1. Experience implementing services with Node.js,TypeScript, and Nest.js.

2. Design, develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems usingappropriate technologiesand programming languages.

3. Implement and optimize server-side logic for high performance and reliability.

Database Management:

1. Depth ofknowledge with databases NoSQL storage solutions (Preferable Mongo, PostgreSQL).

2. Design and manage databases, ensuring data security, integrity,andperformance.

3. Implement database optimization techniques and perform regular maintenance.

API Development:

1. Develop and maintain RESTful, GraphQL and gRPC (optional) APIsforseamlesscommunicationbetween services and applications.

2. Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure API usability and efficiency.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

1. Lead and mentor a team ofdevelopers, providing guidance andsupport.

2. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standardsand best practices.

Performance Optimization:

1. Identify and address performance bottlenecks in application.

2.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for root cause determination andfixingissues.

3. Implement effective logging and monitoring solutions.

Security:

1. Implement security best practices to safeguard backend systems and data.

2.Stay updated on security vulnerabilities and apply necessary patches and updates.

Collaboration:

1. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions, including front-end team,QAteam, and product managers.

Troubleshooting and Debugging:

Investigate and resolve technical issues in both development and production environments.

Implement effective logging and monitoring solutions.

Stay Updated on Technology Trends:

Stay informed about the latest backend development trends, tools, and technologies.

Advocatefortheadoptionofnewtechnologieswhenappropriate.

Other Skills:

ExperienceimplementingProduct-OrientedArchitectureandawarenessofopportunities/challenges associated with implementing microservices.

Experience with messaging systemssuch as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Familiarity with Frontend libraries/frameworks such as React or SveltJs.

Excited by starting from a blank page and giving others asenseofdirection.

Familiarity with project management tools likeJIRA.

Experience working with Source versioning tools like GitHub.

Ability to work independently and self-driven initiatives.

Write clean, well-documented, testable & reusable code.

Learn & research new tech/frameworks/approaches as needed.
