Job Description
Senior Software Engineer will be a member of a team of developers that is responsible for design and development of entire solution everything from back-end database work to the middle tier to the Web-based front-end. You will spend time interacting with software engineers in the United States to gather and interpret requirements. Designing, prototyping, developing and deploying technical solutions.
About You
- Delivers end-to-end technical solutions for multiple products or complex projects with 5+ years of experience as Java Developer.
- Leads routine projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
- May manage budgets for small projects or programs
- Solves complex problems with minimal guidance
- Immediate QA/Software Development Engineer team
- Engages with cross-functional teams to execute
- Trains and mentors more junior colleagues
- Influences and articulates compelling software solutions for customers and product(s)
- Explains difficult concepts and influences others to adopt a point of view for ideas and initiatives
About The Role
- Designs, develops, deploys and supports applications from initial ideation to implementation. Development is done in a variety of environments, but mainly Java on a Linux application server using Oracle as the database.
- Orchestrates how our many systems will communicate, including creating Web services.
- Contributes to the design, development and implementation of infrastructure projects, such as redesigning existing systems.
- Implements enhancement requests.
- Balances and prioritize multiple concurrent projects effectively.
- Owns project development estimates and timelines.
- Spring based frameworks Spring MVC/Spring services, Spring Boot
- Linux and/or UNIX (Basic search and filter commands, regular expressions, etc)
- Tomcat/ Apache web servers
- Spring Boot/ Spring Cloud
- Spring Security
- Java 8 or above wth proficiency in lambda and Streams primarily
- Knowledge and experience on application scalability, security and monitoring technologies
- Redhat unix/ Linux
- CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins/Puppet
- GIT or similar source code control system
- REST API.
