About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Developer to join our team in providing support and maintenance for Oracle Essbase applications on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform. As an Essbase OCI Developer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Essbase applications, troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and implementing enhancements based on business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Managing and supporting Essbase on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing Essbase cubes (includes backup and recovery).
- Manage and process user access requests efficiently.
- Restarting and maintaining Essbase services.
Requirements
- Should have 6+ years of experience. 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of SDLC process like requirement gathering, design, implementation (Coding), testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Proficient in requirement gathering and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in managing and supporting Essbase on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Proficient in creating views, stored procedures, writing queries, database management, query optimization, etc. in SQL Server or other databases.
- Experience in cube builds, REST API, Shell Scripting & Python
- Experience with troubleshooting, optimizing, restarting and maintaining Essbase services, manage and process user access requests.
- Experience in finance roles or relevant financial certifications.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge in Cloud.
- Must have a positive attitude and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
