As a Senior Software Engineer I, you will join a team of highly skilled software engineers to drive Veralto s Digital transformative initiatives in IoT, Data and Analytics (Machine Learning) platforms targeted at multiple market segments. You will be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable, distributed, reliable Serverless systems that will serve as the backbone of Veralto s digital platforms. You will get a chance to work with a world class globally distributed Agile team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science & minimum experience of 3+ years of IC experience.
- Strong Programming foundation using Python/ C#. Strong basics & clear understanding of Data structures, complexity & DSA is a must.
- Clear ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards in alignment with Architecture.
- Documenting code, design, algorithms & methodologies in appropriate tools (GIT & Atlassian tools)
- Keen interest & knowledge on AI/ ML -
- Strong Intent to learn & pick up AI tools & stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and machine learning research, experimenting with new algorithms or techniques, and proposing innovative solutions to address business challenges or opportunities.
- Knoweldge on prompt engineering, ability to work with multi-domain LLMs.
- Knowledge & hands on experience on tools like AWS Sagemaker, Bedrock.
- Cleaning, transforming, and analysing large datasets to extract meaningful insights or features for training AI models.
Good to have
- Data Engineering background handling diverse Big data- data deduping, cleansing, preprocessing & analytics.
- Prior experience handling Big data tools like Hadoop, Spark.
- Knowledge on AWS tools- if worked on other SAAS providers, should be able to relate.
- Some relevant experience on RPA, ML & AI algorithms/ tools- Ability to clearly understand & share when not to use ML/ AI.
